Entry requirements: To be eligible for this course, you would ideally have at least 4 GCSE’s (grade A* to D/9 to 4) or equivalent. This will ideally include Maths and English. You must also already be working in a position where you perform typical administration duties regularly.

The Business Administration Level 2 Diploma has been designed for individuals currently working or just starting in an administration environment, and who are looking to develop their skills in communication, organisation and administration.
Topics covered in the qualification include communication in a business environment, principles of business document production and information management, managing personal performance and development, preparing text from notes using touch typing, maintaining and issuing stationery and supplies, administering the recruitment and selection process and contributing to the development and implementation of an information system.
The apprenticeship lasts for 12 months. During this time the learner will be expected to complete their Level 2 Business Administration Diploma (RQF). Throughout the qualification, the Apprentice will receive regular 1-1 sessions and support from their Tutor. We will work with you to create a portfolio of work to meet the criteria within the qualification.
During this course learners will complete training and activities to cover the 6 mandatory units explained below. You will also need to achieve a specific number of credits from a choice of optional units which include: Analysing and presenting business data, developing and delivering presentations, providing administrative support for meetings, managing diary systems, collating and reporting data, administrating finance, monitoring information systems, website software and data management software.
The optional units will be discussed and chosen during induction to ensure the qualification is built to meet both the employer and learners needs.

All apprentices will have access to all the e-learning course on the system free of charge in addition to the courses built into the apprenticeship package. These can be allocated anywhere throughout the course to meet you business needs, saving you time and money
The apprentice will receive regular tutor support throughout their qualification. A blended learning approach will be used. They will have monthly face to face visits and webinars alongside regular email and phone contact. The resources on Apprentix have been designed to run in conjunction with the sessions, allowing the learner to research and review each topic with ease.
This qualification is government funded and falls under the new Apprenticeship Levy Scheme. Our Business Administration qualification requires a 10% employer contribution. Total cost of training is £2,000. The employer is required to fund 10% of this equating to £200.
Business that have less than 50 employees won’t pay anything if they employ apprentices under the age of 19, and will receive a £1000 incentive payment. This will be discussed during the initial engagement to determine eligibility.

The Business Administration Level 2 Apprenticeship is designed for people currently new to and currently working in an administration environment at entry or junior level.
