Accounts Administrator – Runcorn

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Administrator to join Alma Products Ltd in Runcorn.

Alma Products was established in 1988 and offers a one stop shop for all packaging needs. Focussing on providing either formable plastic sheet for Form-Fill-Seal applications, or thermoformed and printed plastic food packaging.

The successful candidate will be working within the accounts department and will be enrolled on to Business Administration Apprenticeship Level 2 or 3 depending on previous experience and qualifications.  

Main activities will include:

  • Inputting supplier invoices
  • Handling supplier queries
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Updating spreadsheets
  • Telephone support
  • Dealing with incoming post
  • Assisting the accounts team with ad-hoc duties

 

Personal qualities:

  • Attention to detail
  • Good telephone manner
  • Logical thinker

 

Desirable knowledge/skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft office, mainly Excel and Word

 

Desirable qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English grade D or equivalent

 

Hours of work:

40 hours per week

 

Salary:

£4.50 per hour
