Gain your Forklift Truck Licence (FLT) and get back into Employment with our fully funded forklift training course. Training locations in Cheshire, Merseyside and Staffordshire.
Duration: 3-5 Weeks
Entry requirements: Are you 19 or over, unemployed and want to gain a recognised qualification in Warehousing and Storage and complete Forklift Training to gain your FLT Licence? The course is fully funded by the government to help you gain employment.
Learn how to safely and effectively operate a forklift truck in 5 days.
On completion of the course you will be familiar with the basic skill requirements and job safety knowledge required for safe and effective operation of counterbalance trucks. The course includes machine familiarisation, controls, daily checks, refuelling and battery procedures, steering, load weight assessment and handling, stacking racking, awkward loads and vehicle loading, and unloading and much more.
To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of counterbalance fork lift trucks. At the end of the course, successful delegates should be able to operate the machine both safely and efficiently.
During this period of lockdown due to Covid-19, the following delivery model will apply:
4 x 2-hour online training sessions Monday to Thursday 10-12 pm (this can be done from any computer, tablet or smartphone)

Full support after sessions from your designated tutor
Priority place as soon as the forklift centres open

2 days Classroom – BTEC in the principles of Warehousing and Storage Level 2
5 Days Forklift training for your FLT licence
